    Movember: Changing the Face of Men’s Health
    Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. Encourage conversation about men’s health in your workplace with our seminars and educational resources. Why not also check  out our free range of Men’s Health in Movember posters.

    Lung Cancer Awareness Month
    Anyone can get lung cancer, even if they have never smoked. Know the symptoms as it can affect you at any age.

    National Asbestos Awareness Month
    Australia’s leading multi award-winning asbestos awareness and community education campaign in the prevention of asbestos-related diseases. With asbestos-related diseases continuing to increase among Australians as a direct result of exposure to asbestos fibres during home renovations or in the workplace; the importance of increasing awareness and educating Australians on how to manage asbestos safely in accordance with regulations cannot be overstated.

    Australian Food Safety Week
    Australian Food Safety Week is the major activity of the Food Safety Information Council, Australia’s leading disseminator of consumer targeted food safety information. Why not encourage food safety and other nutritional education with one of our seminars or consultations.

    World Kindness Day
    World Kindness Day is an international observance on 13 November. It was introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, a coalition of nations’ kindness NGOs.
  • 13-19 November
    World Sugar Awareness Week (TBC)
    This campaign helps raise public awareness of the damaging effect of too much sugar to our health. Companion week to Salt Awareness Week in May.

    World Diabetes Day
    Aims to promote diabetes care, prevention and a cure worldwide. A good place to start in the workplace is with an onsite heart health check, and keeping an eye on diet and nutrition choices.
  • 19 November
    International Men’s Day
    On November 19, International Men’s Day celebrates worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. It aims to highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being.
  • 20-26 November
    National Skin Cancer Action Week

    NSCAW is a week to remind all Australians to protect their own skin from the harsh Australian UV.
    This is an ideal time to remind all employees about skin protection outdoors. A great place to start is with an onsite skin check.

    White Ribbon Day
    Aims to raise awareness of violence against women.
